The ResMed AirMini is a great travel companion. It offers the comfort and convenience of portability:

It has three different positive pressure modes to choose from: fixed pressure CPAP, AutoSet and AutoSet for her.

Aimini has been created to work with the following ResMed masks: AirFit P10 for the AirMini, AirFit N20, AirFit F20, AirTouch F20 and Airit F30.

With a waterless humidification system that offers the convenience of humidity without the hassle of carrying distilled water anywhere. Humidification is not possible with face masks.

The lightweight device fits perfectly in your handbag, weighing only 299g and is similar in size to a spectacle case. There are also case options available to provide a little extra protection and peace of mind, especially useful if you know you’ll be travelling with it often.

All CPAP machines use algorithms, i.e. computer programs that ensure that the correct pressure is delivered at all times. The AirMini has two automatic versions that are identical to those found in the AirSense 10 and AirSense 10 for Ella. You can switch between either of these options whenever you wish using the AirMini app, so you are free to try both and decide which is most comfortable for you.

The free ResMed AirMini MyAir app allows you to keep up to date with your CPAP therapy by connecting your AirMini to your smart device via Bluetooth. If your smart device runs out of battery, your AirMini will store the data and transfer it when it reconnects, so you won’t lose any data. You can see how well the machine is keeping your sleep apnoea under control and monitor progress over time.

The AirMini does not have a screen, so the AirMini app is also used to make any adjustments you may need to the device. The device only has two buttons – an on/off button and one for Bluetooth. This makes it very simple to use.

Quiet CPAP therapy – At 30 decibels, the AirMini barely exceeds the sound of a whisper. Its sound is only slightly louder than the ResMed AirSense 10. The quiet murmur of your machine is almost invisible, providing a safe sleep.

Transportable – The AirMini measures 5.4″ x 3.3″ x 2.1″. At only 3.5 kg, the AirMini fits in the palm of your hand. It is the most compact and lightweight CPAP therapy.

The AirMini is FAA approved – This means you can use it on board an aircraft. If you’re flying long haul, this is great news, but it also means you can carry it in your carry-on luggage on a short-haul flight rather than risk damage in the hold.

ActiveAir Humidification – Your travels will be complete with the effective and efficient HumidX system. A waterless humidification system captures and reuses moisture from your breath to add humidity. The HumidX requires no electrical power or water as it uses unique heat and moisture exchange (HME) technology.

Convenient control: The AirMini app allows you to monitor and manage your breathing movements. It connects effortlessly to your smartphone via Bluetooth to display data from your CPAP day. You are in control with your AirMini app; tailor your CPAP’s customisable comfort settings to you. View your detailed sleep reports on your sleep apnea treatment and watch your progress. The AirMini app allows your healthcare provider to view your data through the AirView feature.

Exhalation relief: breathe easy. The AirMini allows you to have natural breathing patterns with exhalation relief technology. This comforting setting will allow you to exhale with ease instead of fighting static air pressure, as it decreases the pressure of incoming therapy when you exhale.

Functionalities – Automatic start/stop functionalities help you sleep comfortably at night. The auto start/stop function reacts when you put on or take off your mask. It shuts off your therapy when you remove the mask and resumes therapy when you put it on. It’s as easy as it looks.

Flexible power supply – The AirMini comes with an EU power supply and UK adapter, allowing you to use it at home and abroad.

Modes – Three different positive pressure modes to choose from. Fixed pressure CPAP, AutoSet and AutoSet for her. Apart from fixed pressure, these modes automatically adjust to your breathing. Altering your algorithm has never been more manageable.

Advice/maintenance

Daily cleaning:
1. Wash the N20 and F20 connector in warm water and a mild liquid detergent. Clean with a soft bristle brush, paying special attention to the ventilation holes inside the connector;
2. Rinse well with running water. Remove excess water and allow to air dry away from direct sunlight;
3. Refer to the AirFit P10 Mask for AirMini manual for cleaning instructions.

Weekly cleaning:
1. Wash tubing weekly with warm water and a mild liquid detergent. Rinse well with running water. Remove excess water and allow to air dry away from direct sunlight;
2. Clean the outside of the device with a dry cloth;
