Treatment with Resmed’s AirCurve 10 CS PaceWave and its adaptive servo-ventilation is indicated for patients with:
- Central sleep apnoeas
- Mixed sleep apnoeas
- Periodic breathing
The PaceWave device can be used in hospital or in home use with or without associated obstructive apnea.
The automatic inspiratory pressure support provided by PaceWave reacts to variations in the patient’s minute ventilation and to an automatic or fixed positive expiratory pressure.
The PaceWave algorithm maps up to 12 points of the patient’s respiratory waveform to mimic and synchronize with the patient’s breathing pattern for greater patient comfort.
